Fertility Supplements UK Compared
If you are standing in Boots with Pregnacare in one hand and a browser tab open on Proceive, this page is for you. Same for Wellman Conception next to it. We put our formulas next to those labels so you can see what you are actually paying for.
Figures for other brands are from UK packs we checked in August 2026. Brands change recipes. Read the box in your hand.
These are food supplements, not medicines and not fertility treatments. They do not replace NHS care, a consultant, or anything your clinic has prescribed.
Who these are for
Pregnacare Conception is the one most people know. One tablet, RDA-level vitamins, a few extras. You can buy it in Boots, Holland & Barrett and the supermarket. Pregnacare Him & Her Conception is the couples version of that same idea. Wellman Conception is the men’s one on the same shelf.
Proceive costs more. If you are already looking at Proceive Women, Proceive Max, Proceive Men or Max Men, you are in that £30–£45 band.
Her Fertility is for adult women who are trying to conceive, getting ready for IVF, or tired of buying CoQ10, NAC, methylfolate and ashwagandha as four separate bottles. It is not a pregnancy vitamin. Stop when you get a positive test and ask someone qualified about a prenatal that matches NHS advice.
Him Fertility is for adult men trying to conceive, or supporting a partner through IVF, over the couple of months sperm takes to develop. Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction. Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis.
The Him & Her Fertility Bundle is one tub of each, so you start at the same time.
Give it about three months
Eggs take around 90 days to mature. Sperm take something like 70 to 90. That is why clinic and dietitian pages in the UK usually say start food supplements about three months before you try, or before an IVF cycle. It is timing, not a guarantee. Four capsules a day for 90 days is three tubs each.
Both of ours are made in the UK, GMP, third-party tested. Yan is a microbiologist. Jade is a paramedic. They built these after their own IVF.
Her Fertility vs Pregnacare Conception
Pregnacare numbers below are from a UK label we checked in August 2026.
| Nutrient | Her Fertility | Pregnacare Conception | What that means |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoQ10 | 300 mg | Not a featured extra on the standard Conception pack we saw | Wellman Conception lists 2 mg. Always check the current label. |
| NAC | 400 mg | 50 mg | Same ingredient. Different amount. |
| Folate | 400 µg as 5-MTHF (methylfolate) | Folic acid, usually 400 µg | Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. This tub is for before you are pregnant. |
| Inositol | Not in this formula | 50 mg | If your clinic wants inositol, this does not cover it. |
| KSM-66 ashwagandha | 600 mg | Not listed as a featured extra on the pack we saw | In the tub, not a second bottle. |
| How you take it | 4 capsules a day (120 / 30 days) | Usually 1 tablet | One tablet is easier. That is the pharmacy trade-off. |
| Typical UK price (Aug 2026) | £49.99 / 30 days | A lot less on the high street | We are not a cheaper Pregnacare. You are paying for the stack. |
Her Fertility has 21 ingredients. The table is the headline stuff. You also get choline, vitamin D, zinc, selenium, iodine and a wider antioxidant mix.
Pregnacare Conception Max is a different product. Vitabiotics say it adds L-methylfolate and CoQ10. We did not write those milligrams down in August 2026, so we are not guessing. Put that pack next to ours if that is the one you have.
Proceive Women / Max sit in the same price neighbourhood as we do. We have locked CoQ10 numbers for the men’s Proceive packs (below), not for the women’s ones. If Proceive Women is your comparison, read that label against the Her Fertility table.
CoQ10, just the number
Pages in the UK that talk about CoQ10 and fertility often mention study doses of 200–600 mg a day. That is research context. It is not an NHS, NICE or HFEA treatment, and it is not a promise about getting pregnant.
From the August 2026 packs: Wellman Conception 2 mg CoQ10. Proceive Men 25 mg. Proceive Max Men 70 mg. Her Fertility 300 mg. That is what is in the formula. It is not a ranking of who conceives.
Folate, without the scare
Standard Pregnacare Conception uses folic acid. Her Fertility uses 400 µg 5-MTHF. Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
The NHS still wants 400 µg folic acid if you could become pregnant, through the first 12 weeks, plus vitamin D. Her Fertility is for before a positive test. If a clinician has you on folic acid, including a higher dose, do what they said.
One tub instead of a pile of bottles
A lot of people end up with a prenatal, a CoQ10, a NAC and an ashwagandha. That is four or five bottles. Her Fertility is that stack in one UK tub.
What it does not have: omega-3 (add a fish oil if you already use one) and myo-inositol. Four capsules versus Pregnacare’s one tablet.
Him Fertility vs Wellman Conception and Proceive Men
Most men on the pharmacy shelf get Wellman Conception, often inside Pregnacare Him & Her. If you have already moved past that, you are usually looking at Proceive Men or Proceive Max Men.
Him Fertility is 31 ingredients, four capsules a day. It includes CoQ10, zinc, selenium, acetyl L-carnitine, lycopene, astaxanthin, KSM-66, shilajit, maca, 5-MTHF and a B-complex. We are not putting milligrams on this page until we have a full facts panel locked. They are on the tub.
| Him Fertility | Wellman Conception | Proceive Men | Proceive Max Men | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CoQ10 (Aug 2026 label) | On the tub | 2 mg | 25 mg | 70 mg |
| L-carnitine (same check) | On the tub | 50 mg | Check pack | Check pack |
| Daily format | 4 capsules | Pharmacy tablet | Check pack | Check pack |
| Typical UK price | £49.99 / 30 days | High-street price | Premium band | Premium band |
Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction. Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis. That is nutritional support across the sperm cycle. It is not a treatment for a semen-analysis result.
Couples: Pregnacare Him & Her vs our bundle
Pregnacare Him & Her Conception is two pharmacy formulas in one box. Ours is one Her Fertility and one Him Fertility, £89.99 for both (singles are £49.99 each).
If you want the high-street vitamins you already trust, stay on Pregnacare. If you were about to buy a women’s stack and a men’s stack separately, compare the bundle to that, not to one Pregnacare tablet.
What you are paying for
£49.99 a tub is more than Boots. If you only want NHS-minimum folic acid and vitamin D, a pharmacy prenatal is the sensible buy. If you are already paying for CoQ10 in the 200–600 mg range, plus NAC and methylfolate, add those bottles up and then look at the table.

We are Vitality Revival, vitalityrevival.co.uk. Not Revive Active. Not Vitality health insurance. Not vitality-supplements.co.uk, which is a different shop selling NMN.
The small print
Food supplements should not replace a varied diet and a normal life. Do not take more than the daily dose. If you are in fertility treatment, on medication, have a medical condition, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your clinician first. Other brands’ doses: UK labels, August 2026. This page is not medical advice.
